Puxun Tu (涂朴勋)

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Surgical Planning Laboratory at Harvard Medical School, supervised by Prof. Ron Kikinis, starting in March 2026. I also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Manufacturing and Life Quality Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, where I earned my Ph.D. in March 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Xiaojun Chen. In 2023, I worked as a visiting Ph.D. student at the Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis (PRIA) Lab at the University of Münster in Germany, led by Prof. Xiaoyi Jiang. My research focuses on AI-based surgical scene understanding, navigation, and robotics.
